To start off my kitchen staple series, I am choosing one of my favorie foods: Hummus
For as long as I can remember I have been making my own hummus. I was the girl who brought homemade hummus and pita to my 2nd Grade class party instead of cupcakes and candy. Yes, I was that girl- and still am that girl.
So I’m sure you can imagine I eat a lot of hummus. At least 5 times a week, if not every day. And when I plan properly I love making my own. It is a great kitchen staple to have on hand for a mid-day snack with veggies, and is also a great addition to sandwiches.
So, for the first time I am sharing my recipe that all the kids were asking for back in 2nd grade 😉 Enjoy!
